Officially

Officially, we have a radio show. Expect to hear us 9pm-12am Monday nights, and Wednesdays 12-3am! Besides being plain old awesome, I have some big plans for the show. We'll see how they pan out. Anyway, 89.7 is the place on the dial, and pretty soon anyone within a 10 or so mile radius will be able to listen in, rather than the 2 mile radius that the station currently covers. This is good news for all of you out of townies! Super.
Okeyday....
G'night yall!

Peace out.

Lone chopstick (a poem)

There is but one chopstick sitting on the desk before me.
It struck me that it has no companion. What a lonely chopstick it must be.
Let it find solace among the grain of its brother,
its familial associate in loneliness.
Nothing short of the hand
of a greater being
will separate them.

Music

I don't know how to say this
My time with you is gone
I wish I had another try
I waited for so long

This sure aint the first time
I messed up real bad
I hope that you'll forgive me
I know it's kinda sad

I really don't deserve it
I lied to you my dear
I wish that you would listen
That's my only fear

I can see you walking
Down that road today
Grabbing all your bags and stuff
Just staying away

Cause I love you
That's all I got to say
Cause I love you
That's all I need to say
Cause I love you
I love you

Never coming back here
To this lonely town
Just give me a phone call
I'll never see you frown

Then maybe one day
We'll be friends again
It'll never be the same
You'll never be my friend

I'll cry at your funeral
Would you do the same
There's no need to lie to me
Cause one day I'll proclaim

You're the cause of half my pain
I caused all the rest
I should have seen it coming
I guess I'm just not blessed

Cause I love you
That's all I got to say
Cause I love you
That's all I need to say
Cause I love you
I love you

I'll never be disloyal
I'll never lose my way
I only want to love you
That's all I've got to say

forEVER

It's been forEVER since I wrote on this blog! I mean literally forever. Like, the immortal titan Atlas's back broke with the old age, and he's dropped the world down, down into the great abyss forever.
Anyway, I've been brainstorming some lyrics, and thinking about what kindof interesting things we can do to set the band apart from everyone else, and here's what we have going for us NOW:

1) We dress in plaid
2) We farm the most delicious fruit in the vegetable family
3) Small numbers allow for stealthy entrances and exits
4) We are unhindered by success, and are therefore free to experiment
5) All of us can (with rudimentary skill) play more than one instrument
6) The whole town is our fan club
7) We have the internet, an advantage over everyone else, you'll soon notice
8) College is out for the summer
9) Hitler, goodness, and whoever Jesse worships are on our side
10) Power tools? Will operate.

Peace out.

Chaos

verse I
Where is the truth?
It doesn't exist.
So tell my life's wretchedness,
to cease and desist.
Why am I stricken tonight,
with feelings of fright,
for these notions I ponder in pitch?

bridge
In my sleep,
pain that cannot forget
falls drop by drop on the
muscle that powers my life.

chorus
My viscera sears
'cause my soul is susceptible
to trusting nefarious lies,
and all of my fears
are now untreatable
this pain you can see in my eyes

verse II
"Bear any burden,
support any friend"
that's what life had told me
that's what i had said,
but now I sit here,
as those feelings held so dear,
disintegrate inside my head.

Take it easy.

The Movement

of our loins in perfect harmony is what drives the world 'round on its axis.
...Disturbing.

As many of you may have noticed, The Pickle Farmers have been reaching a larger audience, including any users of the computers in the library lab, science building lab, and random lookup computers throughout the University of Minnesota Morris. While not admitting that this was my doing, and also not advocating for the further changing of any home pages you may see... I must say that it is a behavior that would DEFINITELY be encouraged in most circles.

If it's happening, this is a grass-roots movement. Grass-roots means it's organized by motivated people of the community, not by an already influential social figure such as myself. So, I won't tell you what to do, and I'm not going to say that I WANT stuff to happen so that we get some publicity, but really. I'd be happy.

Anyway, don't stomp on puppies.

Peace out.
